Norton’s Fine Art & Framing has been owned and operated by the same service-oriented family since 1949.
Ruth Norton was an interior decorator, and her husband, Cecil, an architect/engineer with Norton Company Designers. Together they created a business to merge their respective fields. From these roots, Norton’s has evolved into a unique custom, conservation framing, and restoration services studio with two certified picture framers, Doug and Mary Norton. Doug, Mary, and their son, Ty, have endeavored to bring together the finest in artwork, creative, professional framing and caring customer service.

Doug Norton, CPF, and Mary Norton, CPF, of Norton's Fine Art & Framing, are charter members of the Professional Picture Framers Association's CERTIFIED PICTURE FRAMER Program.

The gallery carries a wide variety of artwork, including original watercolors, paintings, lithographs, etchings, serigraphs, landscapes, historical maritime, sports, and St. Louis art, by regional as well as national and international artists.

The gallery and frame shop was started in 1949 and remains a fixture in St. Louis more than a half- century later.
