| There are two central aspects to my work with clay. One, I love texture. Two, I strive to make forms that are both pleasing to the eye and possess a hint of functionality. When glazing my work I choose dry matte surface finishes or let the clay body stand on its own without glaze. In the end my hope is that the viewer will be drawn in by the textural nature of my work and feel the need to reach out and touch. |
